Recycle Rewards refunds 10 cents on drink containers of 150 mL to 3 L carrying the 10c mark; plain milk, wine and spirits are excluded. It launched on 1 May 2025, three years behind the original target, with network operator TOMRA Cleanaway.
What happens: the site says containers enter 'Tasmania's circular economy' but names no processors; Tasmania has no glass or PET reprocessing, so material is almost certainly shipped to the mainland (not confirmed by the scheme).
