Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a Cornwall-based charity that campaigns against plastic pollution and sewage discharges, lobbies for the UK deposit return scheme, and runs the Plastic Free Communities and Plastic Free Schools programmes. Donations fund campaigns, beach cleans and community organising.
SAS is registered charity 1145877 in England and Wales (company 2920815). You can check its filed accounts on the Charity Commission register. Note: the SAS website blocked our automated check on 23 September 2026, so the donate page was confirmed through the charity register and search listings rather than opened directly.
How to start: sas.org.uk/donate/ UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid.
