Break Free From Plastic (BFFP) coordinates corporate-accountability and treaty campaigns across more than 13,000 member organisations and individuals. Its best-known citizen-science tool is the Brand Audit, in which volunteers count and record the brands on plastic litter so polluters can be named in public reports.
Honest caveat: as of September 2026 BFFP has no public donate page (the old /donate address returns a 404) and does not state a legal entity or fiscal host on its site, so we cannot describe it as a charity. Support it by joining (register.breakfreefromplastic.org/) and by running a brand audit (brandaudit.breakfreefromplastic.org/), which feeds its annual reporting on the top corporate polluters.
