Sustainable Coastlines runs large volunteer clean-ups (for example the Hirepool Big Clean Taranaki, 20 September 2026) and Litter Intelligence, New Zealand's national citizen-science litter database used by councils and the Ministry for the Environment.
It is a registered charitable entity (Charities Act 2005, registration CC46615). The Johnson Ohana Foundation is matching donations up to NZ$2,500 until 31 December 2026.
