Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)'s Ending Plastic Waste mission aims for an 80 per cent cut in plastic entering the Australian environment by 2030 and reported in 2025 that coastal plastic across six metro regions was down 39 per cent. Its National Marine Debris Portal accepts public beach-litter surveys using CSIRO's method.

Honest caveat: CSIRO is a government agency with no public donation channel that we could find, so time and data are the only ways to help directly. The portal needs an account.
