Plastic Pollution Coalition is a global alliance of organisations, businesses and individuals working to end plastic pollution at the source. It runs corporate campaigns (recent targets include Amazon, Apple, H&M, Shein and Unilever packaging), pushes for a strong Global Plastics Treaty and produces plain-language guides that counter industry claims about recycling.

It is a project of Earth Island Institute, a US 501(c)(3) (Federal Tax ID 94-2889684), so US donations are tax-deductible and the audited accounts sit under Earth Island. The donate page links to GuideStar (Platinum 2024), CharityWatch and Charity Navigator listings.

How to start: give once or monthly at connect.plasticpollutioncoalition.org/donate Outside the US the gift is not tax-deductible.
