Plastic Free Schools (plasticfreeschools.org.uk/) is Surfers Against Sewage's pupil-led programme: audit, remove three single-use items, challenge industry and write to politicians (3,883 pupils and 324 political actions logged). It is evolving into SAS's New Wave youth programme. Plastic Free July's Schools Challenge (plasticfreejuly.org/campaigns/plastic-free-schools-challenge/) is a free global sign-up with a 2026 pledge card and classroom resources.
Both pair well with our Classroom Plastic Audit and School Pledge so the year ends in a number.
