Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs collected 18 tonnes of tags, which Transmutation in Robe, South Australia (SA), turned into bowls and boards, with proceeds funding 171 wheelchairs. As of August 2026 the site states it is no longer accepting bread tags and there is no drop-off finder; Transmutation's own site no longer mentions tags.

Honest framing: the tags were never a large volume; the programme's value was awareness. The site points people to Lids4Kids' paid Zero Waste Warrior service, Banish and a separate Western Australian Facebook group. The better fix is cardboard tags, which several bakeries now use.
