The best material on circular design for older students: six PDF lesson plans (Lesson 6, 'Redesigning plastics', is the plastics one), ten workshop activities and Learning Hub explainers on why a linear take-make-waste system cannot be recycled out of trouble. Strong for Design and Technology, Business Studies and Economics at 12–18.

Who made and funded this: the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a UK charity funded by philanthropic donations and by 'strategic partner' companies including large packaging users; the teaching resources are authored by the Foundation, not by partners, but say so when you use them. How to use it: use Lesson 6 as the design extension to our ages 15–18 life-cycle assessment (LCA) lesson. Free; link only (no CC licence stated).
