Common Seas works with governments, especially small island states, on plastic policy, funds plastics-and-health research and runs Plastic Clever Schools (1,960 schools in 59 countries in 2025). It says 100 per cent of donations go to programme work.
Honest caveat: Common Seas is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity, so UK Gift Aid does not apply and there is no Charity Commission listing. Donations are taken through a PayPal button on the Get Involved page.
