Greenpeace runs plastics campaigns against supermarket packaging and for a strong Global Plastics Treaty, alongside its climate work. It accepts no corporate or government funding, so it lives on individual donors.
Greenpeace Australia Pacific (Australian Business Number 61 002 643 852) says donations of $2 or more go to its trust fund, which is a registered environmental organisation, and are tax-deductible. Note that donations to Greenpeace International (greenpeace.org/international/act/donate/) are not tax-deductible.
