Emma Bryce's TED-Ed animation follows three plastic bottles to landfill, ocean and recycling plant, and is the story our 'Where does my plastic go?' explainer retells for younger children. It comes with a Think quiz, Dig Deeper reading and Discuss prompts, and has been watched over five million times. Best for 9–14 but used up to 18.

Who made and funded this: TED-Ed, the education arm of TED (a non-profit), with the animator credited on the page. TED-Ed videos are CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 and embeddable from YouTube, so we embed rather than copy. How to use it: play before our ages 8–11 or 12–14 lesson; the quiz makes a ready starter.
